Objective: Create a multiple event platform to support eleven events across B2B SUMMIT, Customer Experience, Technology & Innovation, Data Strategy & Insights and Security & Risk live events for Forrester Research in NA, APAC and EMEA.
Result: A fully integrated Content Hub with a seamless event platform that delivered over 1,000 pre-recorded Analyst presentations with a 50% uptake in revenues for the remote event, that ran concurrently with the live event.
Background
In 2020 Forrester Research continued to deliver their events in a virtual space using notified for 2 years, and found the platform wanting of many fundamental content delivery nuances as well as cross marketing and branding opportunities. They were looking to create a content hub that could deliver the user experience they wanted, within a Forrester UX/UI framework.
Brief
To create a unique digital event experience away from forrester.com to house all content from the analyst presentations with a unique user experience aimed directly at attendees to the Forrester Research events.
Solutions
Source and contract a unique solutions provider with the ability to bespoke code onto an existing media platform for a $1.2m project. Scope out the event portal and create a detailed SoW with risk mitigation processes to budgets.
Project plan and align with the contractor, Sonic Foundry and the Forrester events team. Run through a discovery phase with the full stack software engineering team.
Outcomes
As a team, I lead, we successfully deployed the event hub with cvent integration and eleven digital content hubs to support the live evnts team. The project was delivered successfully through until November 16th 2023.
As a side note I also drove a 100% growth from $100k net profit to $600k net profit for the content and event support department of the business I was contracted too.
Summary
Forrester Research now have a completed and bespoke platform with digital event hub, that is scalable, agile and flexible to improving user experience and processes with the ability to provide richer online experiences for their customers moving into the future. I am currently contracted and working on the SoW for 2024.
